Warranty means nothing!
Warranty means nothing, dont even bother trying to get a replacement from sony they arent interested.
5 year warranty and all they are prepared to do is refund my the amount from 4.5 years ago to buy a new one which will cost me way more due to inflation.

Do not order hardware from them. Ever.
Bought a Dualsense controller and it arrived broken - the left trigger is jammed and there's no way to fix it. I can't contact them - there is quite literally no way to get through to an agent so I can't return it. I'm stuck with a brand new piece of junk that I've wasted £70 on.

Surprisingly terrible service
Went on live chat to ask for a refund for a game that was crashing purchased from the PS Store.
‘Joanne C’ provided terrible service asking me about if I play online, it’s not an online game. Waited for the chat to end before she sent an email about ports on router and accessing PSN.

That wasn’t my query, nor does it fix it. The website stops you for starting a new chat straight away for some reason. This the 2nd time I’ve had interaction with their customer service and both time felt angry how about bad it is. Appalling Sony

ITVX app on Sony TV's-who knows.
Wrote to company enquiring as to why I could not get the ITVX app on my Bravia TV. The reply I received was absolutely useless not answering anything. I originally bought the TV thinking Sony was a good up to date TV. Basically, they don't seem to give a damn, as they are unable to give me any info when the facility will become available. Stay clear of this company.

Sony E 70-350mm - Disappointing Image Quality
I have the 100-400 GM and wanted a compact alternative for travelling light. Unfortunately this apsc lens was disappointingly soft especially at the 350 end of the zoom range. Considering the high price of the lens it should be sharper.

Support!
Just wanted to know where to buy the extended warranty on some expensive headphones before going ahead and buying some on the Sony web site. Can't get to support through chat. Had to fill in an online form and called them, only to be told they didn't know, and they insisted I used chat .. it does not work. “OOO yes it does,” I was told.
What an outfit!
If actual support, where they must do something that might cost them, is as difficult as a pre-sales enquiry be warned! I am going to buy one from a different manufacturer.

Crap Sony.

No support to anyone who buy there overpriced expensive tech.

Bough a £1,000 xr5590j and it's not had a software update now for several months. Stuck on android 10 and April 2022 security.
Why buy a Sony product because they don't update them. Last time I buy a Sony TV. Crap company. Sony don't care either because they never reply on here or on support.

Bought the Bravia OLED tv and which was good quality but needed some assistance connecting some external connections...THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever seen, I mean I'm talking worse than underpaid government agencies! I don't know if they just contract some random workers from anywhere in the world?? You call them for something very specific but they just "hello hello" you till they hang up.

Pathetic for such a big company.

Terrible customer support, worst ever !
Sony have tried to mislead me into accepting that an obvious tv fault (permanent grey area on screen) is, in fact, a Product Feature !!!
They will bare faced lie to avoid their responsibilities

Would be easier if there was an English talking person at the end of the line too !

Nasty company, willing to lie to avoid their warranty responsibilities. They leave the innocent customer no option but to seek legal action. They rely on customers not doing this. Nothing short of thieves.

Sony have 0 customer service. If you have an issue, there is no way to contact them. You could be stuck in their online live chat for 5 hours and still get no response from an agent. Be very careful buying PlayStation and Sony products as there is no way to get a refund if you have an issue.

BEWARE AND AVOID SONY!!!
I have the KD55xf TV and ever since I have brought it, it has been a nightmare. “Sony Support” has to be the worst service for such a big brand I have unfortunately had to use, they constantly brush you off even within the 5 year warranty (mine was only 12 months in and I’m still trying to fix the tv 4 years later 4 YEARS!!! They will ask you to basically be a physics/ engineer and send them data then if you do the immense tasks (around 30 to date) they will conjure up MANY MANY more tasks for you to do as till you give up , imagine 4 years and they are still conjuring up more tasks. I am 66 now btw and I have used and been proud to use SONY products all my life ( I now always avoid the company and it’s products and advice others to do so too)

Phenomenal!!!
I just bought the Sony xm5 noise cancelling headphones and they are phenomenal! Absolutely amazing! I had been swithering about getting them as they are quite pricey but after reading a lot of very good reviews about them I decided to take the plunge and go for them. Wow the sound quality is incredible and the Sony 360 Reality is very good! I had been getting noiser neighbours recently and also working long hours in a fast paced, busy, restaurant environment I want to sometimes just cut off the outside world at the end of my shifts. These are perfect for that. The noise cancelling is really good!!! Thank you Sony!

Returned 2x PS5s to the total of nearly…
Returned 2x PS5s to the total of nearly £700, received by Sony on the 19th, no email confirmation of the returns and no money back. Been waiting on live chat with a 'ten minute' wait for upwards of an hour now - no other way to get in touch and people can't just spend their whole day sitting around waiting for a response! Can't see as I'll be getting the money back in any sort of hurry.

Never Again !
Never Again ! Nearly 3 years of rubbish TV with tech support as bad as the product. Going to buy a cheap Chinese TV , at least it will work ,having to use my Sony as a monitor now.
